Cam Holden has signed a new one-year contract to return to the Bristol Flyers for the 2026/27 season.
The 6ft 5in all-round guard becomes the second player confirmed on Coach Andreas Kapoulas’ roster for the upcoming season, extending his stay in Bristol after an impressive debut season with the club.
Holden proved to be a key factor for the Flyers throughout the 2025/26 season, averaging 9.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 31 Super League Basketball appearances.
His versatility and playmaking ability were on full display in October when he recorded a triple-double against the Surrey 89ers, finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Holden arrived in Bristol following two successful seasons with Cheshire, where he helped the club lift the Trophy in 2024. During his second year with the Phoenix, Holden enjoyed a breakout campaign, averaging 14.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in the SLB.
Speaking on his decision to return to the Flyers, Holden said:
“It feels great to be back for my second season with the club. I love the city of Bristol, so coming back for another year was a no-brainer for me.
“I really enjoyed my first season with the Flyers. It felt like I’d finally found the club I’d been looking for, so I’m honoured that Coach Kapoulas wanted me back to show even more of what I can do.
“It’s very rare in your professional career that you find such a family-oriented club like the Flyers. From the coaching staff and everyone behind the scenes to the fans, you really feel that support every day. All I can do is go out there and fight for them every single night because they give so much to the team.
“The number one goal for us this season is to bring some silverware back to the club. That’s what we’re all working towards and I can’t wait to get started.”
Prior to turning pro, Holden starred at Towson University, earning First Team All-CAA honours in 2022 and becoming just the second player in programme history to record a triple-double during the 2022/23 season.

Now set for a second season in Bristol, Holden will bring continuity, leadership and valuable experience to the Flyers as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign.
