Jalen DeLoach joins B. Braun Sheffield Sharks for rookie season

The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks have announced the signing of rookie forward Jalen DeLoach for the 2025/26 Super League Basketball season.

Hailing from Lilburn, Georgia, the 23- year-old enjoyed a stellar collegiate career and looks to carry that experience into his SLB journey. Throughout his NCAA Division I journey, DeLoach has suited up for VCU, Georgia and most recently Loyola.

In the 2024/25 campaign, DeLoach averaged 6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists for the Ramblers, whilst shooting 59.3% from the field. Jalen was named in the 2022/23 All-Atlantic 10 third team during his time with VCU, helping the Rams post a 27-8 overall record and a sweep of the regular season and tournament titles.

Looking ahead to beginning his professional career at the Canon Medical Arena, DeLoach said:

“I’m excited to begin my career in Sheffield. I have heard great things about the club and the league so I’m looking forward to getting started. I’ve seen footage from the home games and the atmosphere looks great, I can’t wait to play in front of the fans at the Canon Medical Arena!”

Sharks Head Coach Atiba Lyons added:

“I’m very happy to have signed Jalen this season. He brings an energy you can feel the moment he steps on the court. His athleticism, ability to finish above the rim, and his defensive capabilities are exactly the kind of tools we value. He’s a competitor and we’re excited to help him grow as he begins his professional journey with us”
