Manchester Basketball have announced their tenth signing of the summer by confirming the addition of American guard Jordan Johnson to their roster for the 2025/26 Super League Basketball (SLB) and European North Basketball League (ENBL) season.
The 25-year-old Johnson, who enjoyed a solid first professional season at Prizreni in Kosovo last year, spent his college career at Hinds CC, Denver and latterly the University of New Orleans.
At the Privateers, ‘Popi’ started 27 games in his first season averaging 18 points a game in 33.6 minutes, before playing 32 games in his senior year and contributing 21.3ppg in 35.8 minutes per contest.
Johnson would go on to leave a legacy at New Orleans with the most three-pointers (93) in a single season in program history.
Manchester Basketball Head of Operations Dominique Allen said:
“Jordan is a super talented guard, we are delighted to get him to Manchester. He’s a scoring threat who excelled in college and brings with him experience from playing in Kosovo last season. We can’t wait to see JJ in Manchester colours.”
“I am glad to be a part of this organisation. I can’t wait to get there and get started, playing in front of the MCR fans.” Johnson added.
