Following reports of improper conduct at the conclusion of the game between the Caledonia Gladiators and Newcastle Eagles on December 7th, Jonny Bunyan has been awarded a penalty of 10 Disciplinary Points and suspended for one game.
The outcome follows an appeal by the Caledonia Gladiators on the original outcome determined by the SLB Disciplinary Panel.
Super League Basketball operates a system of cumulative disciplinary points, and a one-game suspension comes into force whenever a person’s total penalty points reach (or exceed) each of the following totals: 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 etc.
As such, Jonny Bunyan will serve a one-game suspension which, in accordance with the timescales set down in the Appeals procedure, will be served for the Caledonia Gladiators vs B. Braun Sheffield Sharks game on Friday, February 20 2026.
