Leicester Riders vs Newcastle Eagles – Friday March 21 2025  

Following his disqualification from the game between the Leicester Riders and Newcastle Eagles on March 21, Duke Shelton was investigated by the SLB Disciplinary Panel.  

After reviewing the evidence, the panel issued 10 penalty points to Duke Shelton which, in addition to the nine penalty points he has already accrued this season, takes him to a total of 19 penalty points for the season and will result in a one-game suspension.  

Super League Basketball operates a system of cumulative disciplinary points, and a one-game suspension comes into force whenever a person’s total penalty points reach (or exceed) each of the following totals: 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 etc.   

As such, Duke Shelton’s suspension will be served for the Leicester Riders vs B. Braun Sheffield Sharks game on Friday April 11 2025.
