Super League Basketball is delighted to announce the roster for the Molten All-British Team of the Year, following a voting process involving the League’s Head Coaches, Captains and select members of the media.
Headlining the roster is London Lion and Great Britain international Deane Williams, who was unanimously selected for the roster, followed by his teammate Tarik Phillip and stars from the Cheshire Phoenix, Leicester Riders and Manchester Basketball.
Williams and Phillip have been crucial components to the success of Head Coach Tautvydas Sabonis’ side in domestic and continental action this year, and their contributions were especially vital in the latter stages of the season as the Lions secured every major honour up for grabs so far this season.
Next up on the roster is Tim Adetukasi, who tallied 12 selections. A vital contributor for Manchester Basketball on both ends of the floor, the British forward’s versatility, size and skillset has been crucial for a Matthew Otten side that has reached domestic Finals, competing in the Cup Final back in March, and success on the continent as they reached the Final of the European North Basketball League.
One of the stories of the second half of the season, Flynn Boardman-Raffet has stepped up spectacularly for a Leicester Riders side that has gone through its fair share of injuries and adversity in this campaign, with his performances helping lead Leicester to a strong play-off berth.
Completing the five is Cheshire Phoenix sharpshooter Skyler White, with 10 selections. In a record-breaking season, where the veteran forward broke the club’s all-time record for three-pointers made overtaking the legendary Pero Cameron, White’s leadership was instrumental as the club secured a second-placed finish in the Championship.
