Manchester Basketball have announced their latest acquistion, confirming the signing of Zay Williams to their roster for the 2025/26 Super League Basketball and European North Basketball League campaigns.
The 6’10” forward from Birmingham, USA, played last season at Team FOG Naestved in Denmark after a stellar college career with Troy University. Williams spent five seasons at Troy and was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team and NABC All-District Second Team in 2023.
The 25-year-old averaged an impressive double-double in his first pro season, ending the regular season with 11.6 pts and 10.1 rebounds per game for Naestved.
Manchester Basketball Head of Operations Dominique Allen commented:
“We really like what Zay can do at both ends of the floor. He will give us a different dynamic and we are excited to bring him to the Super League. Zay’s athleticism and ability to rebound the ball will be great for this roster.”
Williams added:
